4 home sales in St. Vital 2C, 1 new condo listing

There were no new home listings in St. Vital Winnipeg MLS Area 2C over the past week, but there were four residential sales including one for $25,100 over list. There was also a sale pending for a condo and one new condo listing.

Winnipeg MLS Area 2C covers the St. Vital neighbourhoods of Pulberry, Bright Oaks, Elm Park, Normand Park, Norberry, River Pointe and Van Hull Estates, and it is always popular among home buyers regardless of the time of year.

The big winner among last week’s home sales was a home on Sunset Blvd. that garnered $25,100 more than its asking price when it closed at $315,000. A home on Kingston Row also sold for $12,100 over list when it changed hands at $262,000. Homes on Ravine Drive and Avalon Road sold for $9,900 and $2,400 less than asking when they closed at $465,000 and $297,500 respectively.  The pending condo sale on St. Mary’s Road was for a townhouse listed at $179,900.

There are now 13 homes for sale in the St. Vital neighbourhoods of Pulberry, Bright Oaks, Elm Park, Normand Park, Norberry, River Pointe and Van Hull Estates. Prices range from $204,900 for a bungalow on Riel Avenue to $769,000 for a luxury 2-storey home on Yachts Cove. The eight condos currently for sale in St. Vital 2C range in price from $149,900 for an apartment in Willow Wood to $449,900 for a townhouse in Okolita Park Condominiums.

Two new condo listings and two new residential listings came to market over the past week in Old St. Vital, and there was one condo sale pending on Beliveau Road for $234,900.

The new residential listings in MLS Area 2D, a bungalow on St. George Road and a 1 3/4-storey home on Crystal Avenue, were listed at $179,900 and $224,900 respectively. The two new condo listings were both on Beliveau Road and listed at $191,000 and $234,900.

The new listings in Old St. Vital included a two-storey home on Imperial Avenue listed at $349,900 and a bungalow on Regal Avenue listed at $249,900. There were no new condo listings.
