There were three more home sales over the past seven days in Winnipeg MLS Area 2C, including one for more than $100,000 over asking price. There were also four new houses listed for sale in 2C, as well as one new condo listing and one condo sale.
The big winner in the over-list sales was a home on Victoria Crescent, which sold for a whopping $109,000 over list when it closed at $608,000. A home on Barrington Avenue also did well when it closed at $296,900, $26,100 more than asking. A home on Norman Park Drive also sold, albeit for $14,900 less than asking price when it closed at $365,000.
The four new houses for sale in MLS Area 2C, which includes the St. Vital neighbourhoods of Pulberry, Bright Oaks, Elm Park, Normand Park, Norberry, River Pointe and Van Hull Estates, ranged in price from $239,900 for bungalows on Moore Avenue and St. Mary’s Road to $374,900 for a split-level home on Winslow Drive.
There are now 15 homes for sale in Norberry, Pulberry, Bright Oaks, Elm Park, Normand Park, River Pointe and Van Hull Estates. Prices range from the aforementioned $239,900 for a pair of bungalows to $899,900 for a luxury home on McNulty Crescent. There are also two vacant lots for sale, one at 31 Riverbend Avenue and the other at 2 Bethray Bay.
