4/5 homes sell for more than asking price in St. Vital, 3 new listings in MLS Area 2C
There were five home sales in Winnipeg MLS Area 2C over the past week, including one for $35,100 over asking price. There were also three new listings.
Winnipeg MLS Area 2C includes the St. Vital neighbourhoods of Pulberry, Bright Oaks, Elm Park, Normand Park, Norberry, River Pointe and Van Hull Estates.
Four of the five homes that sold in Winnipeg MLS Area 2C brought more than their asking price, led by a home on Triton Bay that garnered $35,100 over list when it closed at $315,000. A home on Woodbury Drive also sold for $15,100 over list when it changed hands at $285,000. A home on Springside Drive sold for $5,100 over list when it closed at $205,000 and a home on River Road brought its list price of $329,900. The only home to sell for less than asking price in MLS Area 2C was on Mardena Crescent and it sold for $471,000, $4,000 less than asking.
The new listings in Winnipeg MLS Area 2C range in price from $235,888 for a bungalow on Outsic Avenue W to $324,900 for a two storey split on Easy Street. There are now 16 homes for sale in the St. Vital neighbourhoods of Pulberry, Bright Oaks, Elm Park, Normand Park, Norberry, River Pointe and Van Hull Estates. Prices range from $209,900 for a 1 1/2-storey home on Rosewarne Avenue to $829,899 for a two storey on River Pointe Drive. There are also two vacant lots for sale on Bethray Bay and Riverbend Avenue.
