4/7 homes sell for over list in MLS Area 2F, 6 new listings

The real estate market was certainly wide awake in River Park South, Dakota Crossing and South Glen over the past week, with seven home sales and six new listings! There were also three new condos listed and one sale.

Four of the seven homes that sold in Winnipeg MLS Area 2F brought more than list, two sold for less than list and one brought asking price. Homes on Southglen Boulevard and Coombs Drive led the over-list sales when they sold for for $27,100 and $25,600 more than asking respectively, closing at $317,000 and $370,500. A home on Nutley Circle sold for $17,100 more than asking when it closed at $312,000 and a home on Southwalk Bay brought $8,100 over list when it changed hands at $328,000. A home on Elsey Road sold for its asking price of $381,000.

Homes on Alburg Drive and Ashworth Street S brought $9,900 and $1,900 less than asking when they closed at $300,000 and $268,000 respectively. All in all it was a strong week for homes sellers in River Park South, Dakota Crossing and South Glen.

The six new listings in River Park South, Dakota Crossing and South Glen ranged in price from $66,900 for a mobile home on Shay Crescent to $409,900 for a two story on Sidebottom Drive. There are now a total of 21 homes for sale in MLS Area 2F, ranging in price from $249,900 for a bungalow on Malmsbury Avenue to $639,900 for a two storey on Vadeboncoeur Drive. There are also now three mobiles homes for sale in MLS Area 2F ranging in price from $66,900 to $189,900.

There was one condo sale in Winnipeg MLS Area 2F in the past week. A condo at 2345 St. Mary’s Road brought $100 over list when it closed at $260,000. There were also three new condos listed. There are now a total of 13 condos for sale in MLS Area 2F, ranging in price from $199,900 for an apartment condo on Warde Avenue to $374,900 for a detached condo on John Forsyth Road.
