Linden Woods and Linden Ridge home sales well behind 2011 pace, 3 new listings in buyer’s market of 19 homes for sale

In August 2011 there were 12 home sales in Linden Ridge and Linden Woods with a total dollar volume of $6,073,500. In August 2012 there were only five home sales in the same neighbourhoods for a total dollar volume of $2,251,900. A rather staggering drop in sales and dollar volume from 2011 to 2012, and there have been no sales in the past week.
There has also been two recent price reductions in these neighbourhoods. A home on Eastmoor Cove had its price reduced by $15,000 and a home on Linden Woods Drive SW had its price reduced by $20,000. There was one sale pending on Linden Ridge Drive E for $459,900 as of this writing, but these neighbourhoods definitely represent a buyer’s market right now. Especially with interest rates so low!
